Trinity Real Estate (TRE) was founded to address the severe housing shortage in Cameroon, where a majority of the population still lives in inadequate housing (thatched mud/wood structures) lacking running water or modern facilities. Estimates suggest a national housing deficit of at least 70,000 units per year. TRE's mission is to provide affordable housing to Cameroonians and help young citizens begin to build equity. All developments will be built to client specifications, using materials suited for the specific regional climate, and will support the government's goal of increasing and improving housing in both urban and rural areas.
Strategy
TRE will initially focus its efforts on collaborating with the government (local and regional) and local financial institutions to develop properties that meet customer specifications.
All properties must be developed on titled land and qualify as collateral for financing.
Commercial Centres will be developed through Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) with councils and regional governments.
Every purchased or leased unit will be hard-wired with internet access and installed with state-of-the-art amenities and safety measures.
This approach is designed to deploy capital and quickly establish a strong market reputation efficiently. Future projects will include custom build-outs.
Initial Focus & Location Strategy
TRE's initial focus will be on collaborating with banks, the government, and other stakeholders to develop various properties. The initial developments will be located in urban and semi-urban areas of Cameroon, and will include:
